Directions

Boston Backpackers is located at 234 Friend Street, two blocks from North Station on the Boston subway's Green and Orange Lines and directly opposite the Fleet Center arena.

• From Logan Airport take the subway's inbound (Bowdoin) Blue Line three stops to State Street and then the outbound (Oak Grove) Orange Line two stops to North Station.
• From the Amtrak and Greyhound terminals at South Station take the subway's inbound (Alewife) Red line one stop to Downtown Crossing and then the outbound (Oak Grove) Orange Line three stops to North Station.

The Boston subway system is generally safe and definitely the most efficient way to get around town.  However a taxi from the airport, train station, or bus station should cost less than $15.  A standard tip for anything in the US is 15%
